However I also have some study material for various certifications I'm working on that aren't accessible through that subscription and I've purchased the books which come with a free PDF version of them that I have downloaded onto the tablet. So I have a subscription (I think it's like $10/month) to get a ton of free books and so I can go into the 'Kindle' app and they're in there and when reading them I can highlight text, add notes to sections, etc. Note first and foremost I just got my Fire HD 10 last week and while I absolutely love it I'm still not 100% used to it yet, especially with regards to the Amazon ecosystem.
