I have just played Persona 3 Portable for the PSP, and I'm very glad to have this anime movie adaptation. Short, but fitting given the short movie length. I would've liked LotusJuice did more rapping.ДЄs I pointed before, the movie focuses almost solely on Makoto and Ryoji, the other SEES members are given quick twists. Remixed songs from the original game and new ones are there, so there's no complaints. The story was well paced, and focused on Makoto's struggles rather than action, though this doesn't mean it hasn't a dosis of quality animated fights.Д«etter than Persona 4, and it looks better on the night. I think the way they portrayed his friendship with Ryoji was very good, and make this character more sympathetic than the game. The most worked out thing was how Makoto felt, and deal with depression. It didn't feel profound, nor did it feel shallow. Is kidnapped and Chidori became a villain, the same way as they cut off great part of the Love Hotel arc.Д«ut, the love relationship between Chidori and Junpei turned out aceptable. I mentioned earlier that this movie has a focus on the new character of Ryoji. I especially think that the ending credits song was fitting, and Lotus Juice does an outstanding job as always. The music in this movie is also splendid, and always adds to the tension or emotion. There really isn't much else to say in this regard.

Understand by now that this movie series has good animation. The movie does end on a cliffhanger, but it isn't a real problem for me, since it only invigorates interest in the 4th movie. It makes up for the fast pacing by putting a lot of emphasis on the new character of Ryoji, who I'll get to in a second. unfortunately, the pacing of the movie suffers this, especially since it's the shortest movie in the persona 3 movie series.

The third installment in the Persona 3 movie tetralogy has a difficult job of juggling multiple moving parts within the story, which is justifiably tough. COGITO ERGO SUM - I think, therefore I am.
